Im a mother of three who inspired me to start this business. Eight years ago, when my daughter was little, she represented bow and clothing companies. I became obsessed with taking her photos, and she absolutely loved playing dress-ups. Eventually, this love turned into wedding and family photos for friends and then the creation of Regent Images. I have captured all types of photos over the last 8 years family photos, maternity photos, weddings, business photos, headshots, passport, product photos, plenty of events, car photos, newborns, Airbnbs, and more.
How i like to run my photo sessions/weddings
About my sessions
I run my sessions very casual especially when kids are involved, i bring out the bubbles and just let kids have some fun
My favorite type of photos are candid, however, I specialize in making posed photos feel and look natural.
I don't just stand there and tell you to say cheese; that is not my style. I will capture and create candid moments. While I may guide you into some poses, I will say or do something to create a natural feeling and laughs from everyone.
Weddings are not just about photography for me; I bring experience and assistance in all aspects of weddings. while im there to take amazing photos for you i also like to help, I will notify your celebrant that you ready to walk down the aisle, fluff out your dress or suit, and ensure everyone is perfectly prepared. I will guide guests into group photos and, when the reception comes, I have even helped MC by announcing the bridal party and the wedding couple. I am not just there to capture your day but to assist as much as possible to ensure it runs smoothly. I believe it is the event planner in me that absolutely loves weddings the planning and organizing that come with them. Im also more then happy to assist in timeline and what i have found to work best.

What are your hours?

I have multiple hours throughout the day available, however i do prefer to shoot during golden hour or early morning.

Now located in Canberra however i Travel alot especially to the south coast

Do you have a studio

Yes i have an at home studio, with multiple backdrop options

What payment options do you accept?

Card, paypal, afterpay, bank transfer.
cash is accepted but must be paid prior to shoot if the shoot isnt local to me

Turn around time

Typically depends on the type of shoot and how busy i am that month but generally 2 to 6 weeks
However i do send sneak peeks within a couple days

I find it awkward to take photos or my kids don't like photos or strangers how do you approach this

I am a very calm, relaxed and patient person and to be honest I am not great at having my photo taken i feel so awkward with a camera pointed at me so I use that compassion to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed in all my sessions. Recently, I did Santa photos out of town, and doing photos every 5 minutes with thousands of adults and children really helped me practice my tips and tricks to make my sessions enjoyable. Instead of parents walking away feeling exhausted, I aim to make it a fun time for everyone.

Can i buy more photos from my session if ive only booked a limited number session

Yes, absolutely. I sell additional photos for $10 each, or offer special prices for a full album.. This option is available after you view your photos and cannot decide between 8 or 30.
